This new aerial combat trailer for Star Wars Battlefront depicts some dogfights over the skies of Sollust featuring the iconic vessels of both Han Solo and Boba Fett.

DICE and EA recently unveiled an impressive, new trailer for Star Wars Battlefront at Gamescom 2015, featuring all kinds of vehicular combat taking place above the clouds. This trailer depicted a major aerial battle between the Empire and Rebel Alliance with an Imperial transport shuttle being the priority of the skirmish. The Rebels had to try and take out the shuttle while the Empire's forces had to protect it.

X-Wings, A-Wings, TIE Fighters and TIE Interceptors duked it out with some massive Star Destroyers looming in the distance. During this trailer, we get to see how differently the spacecrafts perform during a fight, as each vehicle has strengths and weaknesses. For example, the A-Wing isn't as versatile or maneuverable as an X-Wing, but it has homing missiles that are more effective than the X-Wing's lasers and proton torpedoes. The trailer shows the tug o'war between the two opposing factions, until a familiar voice introduced itself over the intercom as the Millennium Falcon appeared on the battlefield, taking out the Empire's baddies left and right and obliterating the transport shuttle. Just as the Rebel Alliance appear to have won the day, the Slave I appeared and its unforgettable lasers screeched through the skies in the direction of Captain Solo's ship.

Star Wars Battlefront will launch on Nov. 17 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All versions of the game will be able to get two special maps on Dec. 8 that take place on Jakku, the planet featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, (which is hitting theaters on Dec. 18) but pre-ordering the game will let you have access to these new stages on Dec. 1.
