Remember how so many Star Wars fans lost their minds when we first saw Kylo Ren’s bizarre hilted lightsaber in the trailer for Star Wars: Episode 7? Well, they’re about to lose ‘em all over again. Hasbro is introducing a new line of toys that will allow children (and their parents) to customize their own Jedi weapons. If you should a little hilt was crazy, then you probably aren’t prepared for what people will soon be able to create in their homes.

Revealed over at USA Today, the Star Wars “Bladebuilders” are a collection of different hilts, blades and attachments that let you construct the perfect lightsaber. If you want to make something traditional, that’s cool. You’ll still get to pick the hilt of your choosing and decide the shape, length and color of your blade. But if you want to go really crazy, the sky is the limit. Star Wars traditionalists may get a little queasy when they look at some of the concoctions in the images below, but this seems like a great gift for the young fan who likes to build and create.

Of course, the young fan who likes to build and create won’t have $49.99 for the core set (which includes the basic lightsaber components and a bunch of connector pieces). That’s where you come in, Mom andDad . Naturally, additional components, including lightsabers modeled after those owned by Luke Skywalker, Yoda and Darth Vader, will cost you anywhere from $9.99 to $19.99. Still, that’s a small price to own your own personal laser sword workshop, right?

The toys will be on display at the New York City Toy Fair through Tuesday and they will most certainly be available for purchase before Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on December 18, 2015.
