With all the new details of 'Star Wars' TV flying around the galaxy these days, from the TV shows that will never happen, to the ones that unfortunately will, it's easy to forget how uncompromisingly awesome 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' has become.  Now heading into its fifth season (of a supposedly three year period, don't ask) the latest trailer for 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' will make many a fanboy squeal, even if they don't know what they're looking at.

From a resurrected Darth Maul aligning with the Mandalorians to Republic Commandos and an Andaran uprising, it's easy to get lost keeping up with 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' break-neck pace.  For four seasons now, the Cartoon Network series has built upon the 'Star Wars' universe in ways never thought possible outside the movies, and with its fifth season is poised to completely burst the balloon.

In the brand spanking-new trailer for season 5, which moves to Saturday mornings from Friday nights, the resurrected Darth Maul's plan unleashes itself in full force, combining forces with Pre Viszla (Jon Favreau) and the other Mandalorian warriors, while Anakin faces some domestic troubles at home, and even the droids are getting in on the action!  With so many forces complicating his eventual ascent to power, Darth Sidious may even have to take matters into his own hands by dueling Darth Maul and Savage Opress two-on-one!

You can check out the brand-new trailer below, as well as an interview with supervising director Dave Filoni over at Entertainment Weekly, and tell us what you think in the comments below!
