Just the other day, for a hot minute, we were hearing rumors that J.J. Abrams was thinking of dropping out of 'Star Wars: Episode 7.' This was quickly debunked by Lucasfilm, which seemed to disappoint those who were hoping the rumor was true. Were you one of the ones hoping Abrams was actually leaving 'Star Wars'?

Of course, this is just a hypothetical poll, if you will, since it seems for the time being that Abrams is here to stay. That said, it wouldn't have been the world's biggest shock, considering how much of a spotlight has encircled Abrams and the project, especially after the good-but-not-great reviews and box office 'Star Trek Into Darkness' received (it currently sits at $448 million worldwide). Even for a man who is always juggling about a dozen projects at once, the task of bringing 'Star Wars' back to life must be incredibly daunting.

So are you glad J.J. Abrams is still piloting 'Star Wars: Episode 7,' or were you excited, if only a moment, by the idea of him dropping out? Vote in our poll and sound off below!
