Part of the burden that comes with something as big as 'Star Wars: Episode 7' is the constant chatter of which stars might be boarding a "galaxy far, far away." Thanks to J.J. Abrams' involvement in the new trilogy, everyone's been wondering whether or not he'll be bringing over some of his 'Star Trek Into Darkness' talent into the new 'Star Wars' universe. Now that Zoe Saldana has expressed interest and may even fight for a part, will this become a reality?

Zoe Saldana has become one of the latest "Hotties of the Geek World" with her roles in James Cameron's 'Avatar,' and J.J. Abrams' 'Star Trek' and 'Star Trek Into Darkness.' Now the starlet has expressed interest in continuing this streak in the upcoming 'Star Wars: Episode 7'-led movie trilogy.

When asked about J.J. Abrams' 'Star Wars' flick, Saldana told E! Online, "I'm getting ready to call them, I tell you that. I want to be a sexy something, like a princess from another planet."

Let's be frank, we would love to see that, but is it realistic for her to start this new franchise with her foot still firmly planted in 'Star Trek' (also considering there probably will be a 'Star Trek 3')? She also seems to have no plans of leaving the 'Star Trek' franchise, saying, "We ['Star Trek' cast] are going to give [Abrams] s--t because we don't want him to ever think about leaving just in case we go into a third installment of 'Star Trek.'" So, we guess we'll see.

Simon Pegg was another 'Star Trek Into Darkness' star rumored to be included in 'Star Wars: Episode 7,' but he may not even want any part of it, since he recently debunked that rumor via Twitter. But do you think Saldana has a chance? Do you want to see her jump from 'Star Trek' to 'Star Wars'? Sound off in the comments.
