‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Soundtrack Listing Reveals More Spoilers

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters in less than three weeks, so if you wanted to know everything about it, you could just wait until opening day and get your spoilers the old-fashioned way, by sitting through the actual movie. If you absolutely, positively can’t wait and want to know everything there is to know about Star Wars: The Force Awakens though, we can help. Over the weekend, the French version of Amazon.com accidentally posted the full track listing for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens soundtrack. It was quickly deleted, but there is no such thing as “quickly deleted” when it comes to Star Wars on the internet. The titles of all 23 tracks were saved and now it’s time to parse through that data and find out what it all means.

This is obvious Star Wars spoiler territory, so if you don’t want to know, you probably shouldn’t be here. Go read a book, or take a nice walk outside maybe.

Well, this soundtrack doesn’t give anything away like “Qui-Gon’s Noble End” back in the old Phantom Menace days, but it’s maybe more interesting as a blueprint for how the movie will play out. We’ve seen lots of bits and pieces of The Force Awakens footage at this point, but it’s hard to know how it will all piece together in the film. Now we get a sense for how the movie plays out. There are some interesting bits including The Rathtars, who we’ve previously heard nothing about, and the final two songs, “Farewell and the Trip” and “The Jedi Steps” and if you’ve been paying attention at all, you should know where this is going.
