We’ve known since Star Wars Rebels’ first season finale that Darth Vader would put in a more significant Season 2 appearance than James Earl Jones’ early cameo, but this Saturday’s premiere can’t help showing off the original Star Wars baddie. Vader again shows his skill in a new clip from Season 2, while a cast featurette shows off the significance of his return.

Our latest look at Vader in action for Star Wars Rebels Season 2 takes to outer space to show off some of those legendary piloting skills Obi-Wan spoke of in A New Hope, holding his own as a one-man fleet. Next, a new featurette teases much more of James Earl Jones returning to his classic role, including Ahsoka’s inevitable discovery of their new villain’s identity.

In addition to the return of Clone Wars favorites Captain Rex, Ahsoka Tano and Hondo Ohnaka, the second season of Star Wars Rebels will also pave the way for an episode penned by Star Wars: Rogue One screenwriter Gary Whitta. Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, will also lend her voice to an unknown role, speculated to be that of a young Princess Leia, while Sam Witwer will voice Emperor Palpatine.

You can preview “The Siege of Lothal” in the new clip above, rewatch the trailers below, and stay tuned for the June 20 premiere of Star Wars Rebels Season 2!
