Star Wars fans went wild for the news that Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar would join her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. for the second season of Star Wars Rebels, speculation abundant she might voice a young Princess Leia. Gellar had a bit of fun with the rumor as well, but reveals a far more sinister role for the second Rebels ride.

BuzzFeed caught up with Gellar in a new Star Wars Rebels Season 2 featurette, as the former Buffy star reveals her role as the “Seventh Sister,” one of the new Inquisitors tasked with taking on the crew of the Ghost, what with Jason Isaacs’ character taking a swan dive last season. And while Gellar acknowledges a “cat and mouse” dynamic with Kanan (Prinze’s character), the Seventh Sister’s primary goal lies in smoking out Ahsoka Tano.

Meanwhile, here’s Star Wars Rebels Season 2's new synopsis:

In Star Wars Rebels Season Two, past lives will be revealed and the destiny of our heroes will be changed forever. The transformative new season resumes with Imperial oppression on Lothal growing stronger and the Rebels seeking out new allies and additional resources to sustain their fight against the evil Empire. With the help of Ahsoka Tano, the crew of the Ghost enlists some old friends: ex-clone troopers who fought in the Clone Wars.

As the Rebels grow in number, so do their enemies. New Inquisitors are dispatched by Darth Vader and sent to crush any threat of rebellion. Through dangerous rescue missions, thrilling space chases, and spectacular lightsaber duels — the bond of our Rebel crew will be put to the test like never before.

In addition to the return of Clone Wars favorites Captain Rex, Ahsoka Tano and Hondo Ohnaka, the second season of Star Wars Rebels will also pave the way for an episode penned by Star Wars: Rogue One screenwriter Gary Whitta. Clone Wars star Sam Witwer will also return to the voice of Emperor Palpatine, alongside James Earl Jones’ Darth Vader.

Star Wars Rebels Season 2 will also hold a special presentation and screening in New York Comic-Con in October, but check out the clips above and trailer below, and prepare for the October 14 premiere!
