A Steven Soderbergh Netflix western already grabbed our attention, but the full Godless trailer makes this one a must-see. Visit a deadly “town full of ladies” in an extended sneak peek of the new limited series, featuring Michelle Dockery, Merritt Wever, Jeff Daniels and more.

Now that Netflix has booked a November 22 premiere for Godless, a first full trailer for the Scott Frank-directed series lays out its premise: eighty-three men from the town of La Belle went into a mine, and none came out. The new footage also significantly ups the action quotient for the series, along with some stylish camera work and soundtrack choices.

The series is set in 1884 in a New Mexico mining town, and stars Daniels as Frank Griffin, an outlaw terrorizing the West as he hunts down Roy Goode (Jack O’Connell), his partner-turned-mortal-enemy. While Roy hides at Alice Fletcher (Dockery)’s ranch, Frank’s chase leads him to the town of La Belle, a community made up of entirely women after the town’s mining accident.

Also starring are Scoot McNairy, Sam Waterston, Sons of Anarchy vet Kim Coates, Game of Thrones alum Thomas Brodie-Sangster, The Knick star Jeremy Bobb, Better Call Saul star Audrey Moore, Boardwalk Empire alum Christiane Seidel, Randy Oglesby, Justin Welborn, Christopher Fitzgerald, Samantha Soule and Whitney Able.

Godless is written by Scott Frank; writer behind the original Minority Report, Get Shorty, The Wolverine and Liam Neeson’s A Walk Among The Tombstones, which Frank also directed. Watch the first Godless teaser below, and stay tuned for the November premiere.
