‘Supernatural’ “Freaks and Geeks” Preview: The Next Generation of Hunter

At long last 'Supernatural' finally returned to its loyal fans with last night's "Goodbye Stranger," similarly reprising the roles of Castiel, Crowley and Meg as the angel and demon tablet stories moved a few inches forward. Next week's all-new episode "Freaks and Geeks" will see Sam and Dean conflicted about a young new team of hunters thrust into the life, but are they really ones to denounce the idea? The tablet story-lines came back with a vengeance in last night's 'Supernatural,' but won't resurface before Sam and Dean come face to face with "the next generation of hunter" in Wednesday's "Freaks and Geeks."  In it, Sam and Dean find that man named Victor (Adrian Hough) has taken in a number of youths to be trained in the ways of a hunter, but Victor himself may not be what he seems.

The CW has released the first clip from the episode, which understandably sees Sam and Dean balking at the manner in which Victor trains them to hunt in their youth, but were their own upbringings really so different? Can they argue with a man who seemingly provides a home and a purpose?
