'Supernatural' Season 9 Premiere Sneak Peek: Dean Talks Tough with the Angels

EDIT
|

Next Tuesday will see the Winchesters finally return for 'Supernatural' season 9, but the wait for new footage from October 8 premiere "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" is already over. The first clip from The CW show's anticipated return has arrived to see Dean calling out to Castiel for protection, but whose life is in danger this time?

It's Sammy! Still stricken from the events of last year's finale "Sacrifice," Sam lies in critical condition as Dean uses a hospital's chapel to reach out to Castiel for help. When that fails however, Dean opens the channel to any of the angels gunning for them, assuming they even have power enough to help out, after the fall. So who might come to Sam and Dean's rescue, you wonder?

Premiering October 8, ‘Supernatural’ season 9 will also feature the return of Jim Beaver’s Bobby Singer, Felicia Day‘s Charlie Bradbury, and Death (Julian Richings), while ‘Battlestar Galactica‘ vet Tahmoh Penikett will appear as the angel Ezekiel and ABC ‘Whodunit’ host Gildart Jackson will appear in a significant “Men of Letters” flashback. Executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer have otherwise previewed the CW drama’s ninth year, particularly the expanded role angels would play in the mythology going forward and a secret that Dean will be keeping from Sam.

'Supernatural' fans, the wait is over! Check out a sneak peek of Tuesday's season premiere "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" above, and give us your predictions for the new season in the comments!
