Sam Raimi was on hand at Comic-Con 2014 today for the Screen Gems panel, where he discussed his involvement in the upcoming adaptation of the 'Last of Us' video game. But that's not all he discussed: seems like Raimi isn't quite done with 'Evil Dead,' the film franchise that kickstarted his career. While we won't be seeing another Raimi-directed 'Evil Dead' film anytime soon, we will be seeing more 'Evil Dead' ... on the small screen.

In 1994, directors Joel and Ethan Coen teamed up with their pal Sam Raimi for 'The Hudsucker Proxy.' Co-written by Raimi, the film follows inexperienced small-town business school graduate Norville Barnes (Tim Robbins), who is suddenly placed at the head of Hudsucker Industries when the company's founder commits suicide. Working as his proxy, Norville must scramble to help keep the company afloat and navigate the world of ruthless corporate businessmen. Nineteen years later, we take a look back at the cast of this screwball comedy and see where they are now.

Just a few weeks ago, Bruce Campbell told a crowd at the Nashville Comic-Con that "yes," he would be returning for 'Army of Darkness 2.' One week later, 'Evil Dead' remake director Fede Alvarez said on Twitter that Sam Raimi would be directing 'Army of Darkness 2.' But now, when cornered at Comikaze in Los Angeles, Campbell admits there's "no reality" to an 'Army of Darkness' sequel and calls any talk otherwise just "internet bulls---."

Well, apparently this is actually happening, if the actor's latest statements hold any water.

In 1992, Sam Raimi unleashed the third film in his 'Evil Dead' series. Continuing the campier, slapstick feel of 'Evil Dead 2,' 'Army of Darkness' follows Bruce Campbell's Ash as he's transported back to the middle ages to once again fight the evil dead. 'Army of Darkness' delighted fans, but also left them hungry for more adventures with Ash and his legendary boomstick.
21 years later and with rumors of a sequel on the horizon, we look back at the cast of the film and see where they are now.

There are a million reasons why an 'Evil Dead' remake shouldn't work. So many, in fact, we won't even start listing them all here. And yet this 'Evil Dead' remake is still a success (read our 'Evil Dead' review here). How is that possible? And how did they do it without the help of CGI, which is far-too-prevalent in horror movies these days? We sat down with director Fede Alvarez, producer Rob Tabert and a guy you might have heard of named Bruce Campbell, to talk about remaking one of the most beloved horror movies of all time.

Remember how he back tracked (a lot) shortly after making said statement? Well, it turns out there's a lot still up in the air, and one aspect is the true nature of this apparent sequel. Instead of being another 'Evil Dead,' a recent update revealed, whether you've been praying for this or not,  it'll be 'Army of Darkness 2' instead.

Sam Raimi's 'Evil Dead' trilogy is one of the touchstones of cult cinema. From the first no-budget horror film, to the frenetic, slapsticky horror-comedy of the second, to the Dungeons and Dragons and Mark Twain-inspired third film, they are marvelously entertaining movies that inspire very passionate fans. Which is why people keep asking Raimi about a fourth film. Well, he's answered, and suggests he's going to write a new sequel this summer.
