A new ‘Avengers 2’ trailer is coming in less than a week (airing on January 12 during the College Football National Championship on ESPN) and when it arrives we’ll start to know a little bit more about the very secretive plot. As a little tease before the new trailer, we have a new photo from the film that gives us some insight as to how the Avengers deal with Ultron’s nefarious plot.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ will undoubtedly be quite the spectacle, and it’s not the only huge movie Disney has lined up for 2015, either. The studio sent out a press release today detailing their major 2015 movie releases, and seeing all of those film titles on one list is kind of dizzying—like, Disney is going to make some big bank next year. Included in the release is a new sneak peek at ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ which features the whole Avengers crew gathered in one place, and then some.
The words “ ...The next Pearl Harbor that we confront could very well be a cyber-attack...” open the trailer for Michael Mann’s upcoming cyber-thriller ‘Blackhat.’ Somewhere, right now, a dozen Sony executives are nodding grimly in agreement.
There is only one person in Hollywood fit to play a ruggedly handsome ship captain who is forced to fight for his life when an inexplicably angry whale decides to make his life a living hell—and that person is Chris Hemsworth. Pretty (but not too pretty), tough (but no too threatening), and recognizable (without being too expensive), his casting makes ‘In the Heart of the Sea’ all the more interesting, because it’s hard to imagine very many other actors not looking totally ridiculous in new trailer. He really is a 19th century ship’s captain for the 21st century.
Chris Hemsworth has fought Frost Giants, Dark Elves, Destroyers, Chitauris, rock creatures and even Hulks, but in his next movie - 'In the Heart of the Sea' - he's going to fight something even bigger than all of those things: a really, really, really big whale.
In the current world we live in - what with the celebrity nude photo scandal - cybercrime is at the forefront of a lot of the conversation. How do we keep ourselves and our identities safe? Such is the plot of 'Blackhat,' the new Chris Hemsworth thriller that stars the 'Avengers' actor as the world's leading hacker (who also happens to be beautiful and is really good at punching people in the face).
It's inevitable: one day there will be an 'Avengers' reboot. It's hard to think of now, as 'Avengers 2' hasn't even hit theaters and Phase 3 of Marvel's Cinematic Universe hasn't even begun yet. But, once Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner all play through their contracts, Marvel is going to have to start over. Now, we don't think Marvel would ever reboot 'The Avengers' as a 70s detective TV series, but if they did? It'd look a lot like this...
It's been a little while since we've heard anything about the new 'Vacation' sequel/reboot with former 'Office' star Ed Helms playing a grown-up Rusty Griswold -- but rest assured, this 'Vacation' is still very much happening, and has just packed up two very awesome accessories: 'Thor' star Chris Hemsworth and 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' star Charlie Day. This is going to be the best 'Vacation' ever!
By now, everyone is familiar with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, where people heed the call to throw buckets of ice water on themselves to spread awareness of ALS and raise donations to support The ALS Association. Everyone, from your many Facebook friends to A-list celebs have been participating, but, for us, there's nothing like seeing the likes of Thor, Iron Man and Star-Lord step up to the plate.
For those eager to return to the darkly whimsical world of 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' we have good news: Universal has given 'Snow White and the Huntsman 2' a release date. But that's not all, the upcoming sequel to the 2012 film also has an official, shorter title, ditching Snow White altogether.
