In the first 'Horrible Bosses' film, the team of Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day faced down a trio of awful employers and rode the box office to the tune of $117 million. Since those bosses were played by Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston and Colin Farrell, the upcoming 'Horrible Bosses 2' will have to up the ante. With Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine being eyed for the sequel, consider the ante officially upped.
Coming on the heels of the unfortunate news that author Tom Clancy passed away last night, the first poster for 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' -- inspired by the character created by Clancy -- has been revealed. The poster for the film, which stars Chris Pine in the Ryan role, prominently features Clancy's name -- seems like a pretty fitting tribute to the late author.
Whether you're a fan of musicals or not, 'Into the Woods' should intrigue you, based on the way it's shaping up. The Rob Marshall film already has Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep on board (enough star wattage for two or three movies right there), but breaking news suggest the duo will be joined by an unlikely pair: Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal. What-WHAT?!
Over the decades, the 'Star Trek' franchise has been a lot of things, but it's never really been about action. Director JJ Abrams pushed this universe in that direction with his 2009 reboot, but there's no denying it with 'Star Trek Into Darkness': this thing is an action movie through and through. Two newly released images from the film do little to change that particular perception.
J.J. Abrams left the 'Star Trek' universe in a bit of a lurch when he agreed to direct 'Star Wars: Episode 7' for Lucasfilm. Up until this point, Team 'Star Trek' has been very diplomatic, saying that Abrams would still be around to produce 'Star Trek 3' and that they wish him the best on 'Star Wars 7.' But 'Star Trek Into Darkness' star Chris Pine says he's still "disappointed" that Abrams won't be around to direct 'Star Trek 3.'
We've seen a couple of images of Chris Pine in his 'Jack Ryan' incarnation already (see them here and here) and now we've been handed a couple more. Like the images before them, these are simply using Pine's face to promote the character and movie, which is good enough for us (for now). Check it out the new 'Jack Ryan' pics after the break.
