August seriously cannot get here soon enough, and while we've still got plenty of summer blockbusters to get through before we get to James Gunn and Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' we've got two more new pics from the upcoming movie to help us bide the time. Both images put the focus on Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, the leader of the rag-tag group of unlikely heroes.
Of all the series we'd never have expected to shake things up with a time jump, NBC's 'Parks and Recreation' went lightyears ahead in "Moving Up" to its sixth season finale last night. And while NBC hasn't confirmed the seventh season as its last, producer Mike Schur got on the horn to discuss the show's surprising fast-forward, including one very 'Mad' man cameo, and what it means for the future Pawnee of 2017.
'Jurassic Park 4' quietly began filming a little over a week ago and the first images from the set have begun to trickle out. Those hoping to catch a glimpse of a T-Rex or a velociraptor will have to wait a little while longer, but there's enough subtle goodness in these three photos to get any fan excited.
'Jurassic Park 4' (now officially titled 'Jurassic World') only just began filming in Hawaii, but life finds a way and Universal is already planning sequels to the upcoming, uh, sequel. (Please read previous sentence in your best Jeff Goldblum voice.) The studio has some pretty big plans for the upcoming film, and those plans involve setting the stage to continue the franchise, if they can.
As Kevin Feige says in the new behind-the-scenes look at James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' as debuted during Tuesday night's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' the film is meant to be (the start of) the next level of Marvel movies. From here on out, Phase 2 promises to feature more out-there adventures, which means going into space (and perhaps beyond).
Marvel continues to tease out bits and pieces from upcoming superhero space epic 'Guardians of the Galaxy' following last month's debut of the first trailer. The latest batch of photos take us both in front of and behind the scenes with Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, and his crew as they suit up and prepare for some intergalactic action.
Star-Lord? Who's Star-Lord? If you're not familiar with this hero from the farthest reaches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you're not alone. Djimon Hounsou's Korath is just as unaware of his clout, as shown in the first 'Guardians of the Galaxy' clip, but both he and everyone will soon know the name.
At long last, the first 'Guardians of the Galaxy' trailer is online, leaving behind Marvel's Earth- and Asgard-bound heroes in favor of an intergalactic band of misfits. We've already seen a few preview bits from the film through photos and 15 seconds of footage, but here's our first full look at Marvel's venture into space.
