Christoph Waltz Wins Best Supporting Actor at the 2013 Oscars

It was one of the most hotly contested categories at the 2013 Academy Awards, but Christoph Waltz squeaked ahead of some very tough competition and took home some Oscar gold, winning Best Supporting Actor for his role in Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained.' This was not an easy victory, especially since every nominee in this category was a past winner!

You may have already seen the instantly viral 'Djesus Uncrossed,' but have you seen the fake advertisement for a service that assists Popes with their retirement plans? With 'Inglourious Basterds' and 'Django Unchained' star Christoph Waltz hosting, it was inevitable that last night's Saturday Night Live would contain some kind of Quentin Tarantino parody...and oh boy, did they deliver in the most offensively hilarious way possible. There's no reason for Tarantino to make a third historical revenge film now -- SNL has done it for him with 'Djesus Uncrossed.'

'The Muppets 2' originally had Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz cast as the film's new villain, a bumbling Interpol agent. But Waltz was forced to drop out due to scheduling concerns and was replaced by 'Modern Family' star Ty Burrell (interesting choice for a replacement...). But now it appears that Waltz may star in 'The Muppets 2' after all, in a different role.
