Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has been a bit less transparent in promoting a new season than that of its DC counterparts, but that hasn't stopped the ABC drama from getting viewers in on the game of its latest mystery. We know why Coulson lives, but what's going on in Phil's noodle to be scrawling alien equations all over a Hollywood billboard for 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 2?
It was of little surprise to fans that DC would dominate the TV side of Comic-Con 2014 given its four offerings, but what of Marvel's slate, between ABC's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' 'Agent Carter' or Netflix's 'Daredevil?' Find out what to expect from the Marvelous-world of TV at Comic-Con 2014 with their full announcement!
Say what you will about Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' needing near of an entire season to build up its credibility, the 'Avengers'-adjacent drama has had some impressive visual effects from the start. While we await news of season 2, as well as the first season Blu-ray release, we can see the marvel-ous effects created from scratch with a new VFX reel for Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'!
Gregg is known throughout media circles as a "good guy." When you meet him in person, he's engaging, polite and invested. On this day, Gregg seemed to be in a particularly good mood (wardrobe malfunction and all) as he discussed the difficulties of making a small, independent film in 2014 -- and the strange reasons why we don't get reported VOD financial numbers -- and he looks back on the ups and downs of the first season of 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'
Marvel's ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ had a rocky road building toward the 'Avengers'-adjacent series we'd wanted from the start, but now that the Marvel universe has gone kablooey, we need a little help keeping everything straight. Coulson lives, but his team in shambles, so we’d better tell you everything you need to know about Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ in 60 seconds before they’re all out of a job next season!
With 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' wrapping up its first season next week, Clark Gregg (who of course plays Agent Phil Coulson on the popular show) would like to clarify that "loser" remark he made about people who had given up on the show early -- a remark Gregg does't deny, but does regret.
I met Gregg on Tuesday afternoon at a restaurant in the West Village to discuss his new film that he both wrote and directed, 'Trust Me' (a story about a sleazy child star agent, played by Gregg, which you can watch On Demand right now and will be in theaters on June 2). The full interview will publish closer to the theatrical release of the film, but with 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' ending its season next Tuesday -- with guest star Samuel L. Jackson -- Gregg teases what we might see in the finale and hints at the implications it will have for the Marvel cinematic universe. And we won't officially learn if the show is returning until next week's upfronts, but Gregg says he'd be surprised if Coulson's team isn't back for another season.
Just when we thought Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' had made its most fan-pleasing cast in the form of nerd icon Patton Oswalt, the ABC 'Avengers'-adjacent series has tapped a Joss Whedon icon for its most on-point casting yet. 'Angel' and 'Dollhouse' alum Amy Acker will pick up horse-hair as Agent Coulson's infamous Portland cellist, but what brings the once-dead Agent back into her life?
Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ assembles its first 2014 installment in midseason premiere “The Magical Place,” as the team partners with Agent Victoria Hand (Saffron Burrows) to retrieve Coulson from captivity, while the agent himself finally unlocks the mystery of his mysterious resurrection.
Previous ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ episode “The Bridge” saw the team enlisting Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) to take the fight to Centipede, so how does ABC’s ‘Avengers‘-adjacent series keep us marveling at its inaugural season?
Read on for your in-depth recap of everything you need to know about ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’’s eleventh episode, “The Magical Place!”
The lukewarm reception of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has all but burned through excuses by the time of tonight's 2014 premiere, "The Magical Place." So while the team looks to rescue Coulson from Centipede, who in turn press the agent for answers on his mysterious resurrection, will the 'Avengers'-adjacent series finally deliver on its promise? Clark Gregg lets us know if the real truth will come out in "The Magical Place"!
We're four episodes into Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' but we hadn't exactly expected the major reasons behind Agent Coulson's (Clark Gregg) mysterious resurrection to present themselves just yet, at least this early in the season. We've seen hints that could justify the famous LMD theory, as well as a number of other possibilities, but has Clark Gregg now confirmed a more "magical" place than Tahiti is responsible for the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent's good health?
