Guardians of the Galaxy
At long last, the first 'Guardians of the Galaxy' trailer is online, leaving behind Marvel's Earth- and Asgard-bound heroes in favor of an intergalactic band of misfits. We've already seen a few preview bits from the film through photos and 15 seconds of footage, but here's our first full look at Marvel's venture into space.
It's all happening! Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' is dropping a trailer ... tomorrow night! That's right, after months of waiting, we'll finally get a full trailer for James Gunn's upcoming adaptation of the Marvel comic, and to tide you over until then, the studio has released some new photos featuring the intergalactic heroes, including one very popular talking raccoon.
Marvel's ambitious undertaking, the "superhero space opera" 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' will release its first trailer this coming week, and you'll all finally see what we've been raving about since Comic-Con. But before the footage drops online, we were at attendance at Hasbro's 2014 Entertainment Brand Preview during the American International Toy Fair, which showcased the upcoming toy lines for 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' promo art and first looks at new characters.
There are only a few days left to wait for the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' trailer to officially arrive, but if you absolutely can't wait that long for a look at Marvel's new franchise, we've got a look at one of the new LEGO sets for the upcoming movie, including a shot of their spaceship and a first look at the villainous Ronan the Accuser.
Ahead of this weekend's American International Toy Fair in NYC, where toy companies will preview their upcoming lines for the press (and we'll be sure to report on the latest happenings), Hasbro unveiled the first official look at the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' action figures from their Marvel Legends Infinite Series.
While we all speculate on whether 'Doctor Strange' or 'Black Panther' will be a part of Marvel's Phase 3, today comes some actual new on what one of those Phase 3 movies may be. Unfortunately, there's no major announcement on either of those two new films, but instead it looks like one of the Phase 3 movies will be another sequel, alongside 'Thor 3' and 'Captain America 3' - 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2'.
While we still patiently await the first real footage and trailer from Marvel's upcoming 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' we've got yet another sneak peek at the new film via some promotional artwork. The designs, which will be used on future products tied-in with the film's release, feature heroic leading characters like Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, and Groot.
