Snyder shared the first image of the iconic automobile, mostly covered by a tarp, with a message suggesting that a full reveal could come as soon as tomorrow.

When it was revealed that the sequel to 'Man of Steel' would actually be 'Batman vs. Superman', fans were both excited and concerned. To some, it sounded like the best thing ever. To others, it seemed like desperation after Superman's epic return didn't do 'The Dark Knight'-sized business. However, director Zack Snyder has officially gone on record explaining why the Caped Crusader will be in the film ... and it turns out that he's been thinking about this for awhile.

Admittedly, I never felt too outraged over the ending of last summer’s ‘Man of Steel.’ (Yes, there will be major spoilers ahead.) The complaints over Superman breaking the neck of his foe were certainly valid – therefore changing the very definition of the character – but it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the film. That changed after seeing ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier.’

Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder have been keeping mum on their upcoming 'Batman vs. Superman' film, despite letting slip that Lex Luthor will pop up as the new villain. Earlier today, 'Man of Steel' director Zack Snyder and star Amy Adams sat down with Kevin Smith at a special fan event for the upcoming Blu-ray release, with Henry Cavill telecasting in from London -- but the making of that film wasn't all they discussed. Snyder dropped a few hints about his sequel, working under the tentative title 'Batman vs. Superman,' which, obviously features the caped crusader going up against the Man of Steel himself.

In retrospect, we know very little about Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' sequel, 'Batman vs. Superman' (even the title remains unofficial until the studio breaks its silence). However, it looks like big announcements could be coming soon during a certain 'Man of Steel' fan event.

The still unofficially titled 'Batman vs. Superman' movie, which furthers the DC cinematic universe kick-started in this past summer's 'Man of Steel,' is one of the biggest deals in recent memory for Marvel's competitor.

The past few weeks have been awash in Batman casting rumors with everyone from Josh Brolin to Ryan Gosling apparently being on Warner Bros.' secret short list. However, new rumors suggest that the studio may cut its losses and stick with what works. The latest chatter, once again, claims that Christian Bale is being asked to reprise the role for the announced 'Batman vs. Superman' movie, and he's getting, uh, a substantial paycheck waved in front of him.

Other than the trademark red underwear being removed, Superman's costume in 'Man of Steel' was remarkably close to the classic design. Blue suit, red cape, red "S" on yellow shield and so on. However, some newly released concept art for the film reveals that this traditional approach was only one of many options explored by director Zack Snyder and his army of designers. Can you imagine a black and white Superman costume? How about one with no cape?
