Netflix fans are eagerly awaiting the coming reunion of 'Arrested Development,' as well as fellow Netflix originals like 'Hemlock Grove' and a second season of 'Lilyhammer,' but that won't stop the pay-streaming site from releasing one of its most ambitious projects to date this Friday, that of David Fincher and Kevin Spacey's political drama 'House of Cards.' The network has released its biggest trailer yet for the outing, which debuts in its entirety this week, so take a look inside!
House of Cards
We've kept a keen eye on Netflix as it develops its brand of original programming, starting with the excellent series 'Lilyhammer,' and soon to be continuing with the 'Arrested Development' reunion, Eli Roth's horror thriller 'Hemlock Grove,' and in particular Kevin Spacey political drama 'House of Cards.' The David Fincher-produced series is fast approaching its Feburary 1 release date, so now that all that other election chicanery is behind us, how would you like a first look at the 'House of Cards' trailer?
While it's easy to lavish attention on Netflix for its upcoming 'Arrested Development' reunion season in the spring of 2013 (see? Look at us lavish!), the revitalized FOX series is far from Netflix's only original content. Along with established entry 'Lilyhammer,' next year will also see the release of both David Fincher/Kevin Spacey political drama 'House of Cards,' as well as Eli Roth's nightmarish 'Hemlock Grove.' We've got the first-look posters, and info on when you can watch every episode at once!
You'd better get used to seeing Kevin Spacey look dapper in a tuxedo, if you hadn't already. Though the series won't debut until sometime next year, Netflix and acclaimed director David Fincher's original series 'House of Cards' (not to be confused with Showtime's 'House of Lies') is going to be around for awhile. The video rental / streaming service has ordered a full two seasons of the drama before even airing, but how would you like a first look?
