The 'Kick-Ass 2' trailer is here and it's here to remind you that this summer's superheroes aren't just in 'Iron Man 3' or 'Man of Steel.' Nope, Iron Man and Superman are great but now Kick-Ass and Hit Girl are back and this time the only choice is to go balls to the wall. And no, this new 'Kick-Ass 2' trailer is NSFW.
Previous trailers for 'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone' have been fairly traditional, laying out the story of two struggling magicians past their prime (Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi) who compete against a hip Criss Angel type played by Jim Carrey. But this new promo video chooses to go meta, styling itself like a hokey commercial for an actual Las Vegas magic act instead of a movie trailer.
'Dumb and Dumber 2' was definitely happening. And then it was off. But then Jim Carrey was back and it was back on again. And now, according to director Peter Farrelly, it's "100% guaranteed that it's a possibility." They're in talks with Warner Bros. for the sequel - titled 'Dumb and Dumber To' - and want Channing Tatum and Emma Stone to join Carrey and Jeff Daniels.
Despite much critical hype, Matthew Vaughn's 'Kick-Ass' was only a modest success at the box office. While it didn't make a lot of money, it made plenty of fans and sold a lot of DVDs and here we are: 'Kick-Ass 2' hits this summer and our first look at the film has arrived. And yes, that is Jim Carrey.
Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone and Anton Marvelton have ruled the Las Vegas strip for years. But facing cutthroat competition from guerilla street magician Steve Gray, even their show looks stale.
Now that we know how easy it is to become a zombie extra on AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (well, not that easy), it seems like just about anyone can become one... and by anyone, we mean even people like Jim Carrey. At least, that's what the internet is saying (and why would the internet lie to us?)
'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall' is currently in production in Toronto, Canada, and a new video taken on set has revealed a first look at Jim Carrey in action -- sorta -- as his "Colonel Stars" character.
The video itself doesn't provide a ton of excitement, unless actors in superhero costumes standing around and waiting for "action to be called" can be considered exciting, but it still provides us with a good look at Carrey in character in the highly-anticipated sequel.
