It's a little weird that a movie about the dangers of doing something so long that it becomes rote and stale is, at times, incredibly rote and stale. Write what you know, I guess; 'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone' has a couple big laughs, a few small laughs, and a whole lot of going through the Hollywood mainstream comedy motions. As a movie, it's a mess; in select moments, it's occasionally hilarious. It's probably best appreciated as a playlist of highlight clips on YouTube.

Seconds into 'Deadfall,' the lives of two of the main characters are sent careening off course by a fluke accident. If everything had gone according to plan, Addison and Liza would have escaped. Through sheer coincidence, they did not.

People Like Us' is summer counter-programming, though it has a big-budget summer cast that includes Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jon Favreau. If that's surprising for what looks like a small emotional movie, it's directed by Alex Kurtzman - who wrote the script with writing partner Roberto Orci. And that may be the explanation to the cast: he's worked with most of them before. Check out the trailer...
