In one of the most public contract negotiations of the modern era, Robert Downey Jr. has let it be known that he finished his contractual obligations to Marvel and to playing Tony Stark and Iron Man. Which means his future involvement with both 'The Avengers' and 'Iron Man' will depend on how much Marvel is willing to pony up.

Now that Marvel's 'Iron Man 3' appears to have made all the money, it seems even more assured that ABC will look to capitalize on its Marvel connection by greenlighting Joss Whedon's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' pilot to series in the coming weeks. Fans have been abuzz that Marvel movie characters would appear on the series since day one, but has Robert Downey Jr. officially confirmed his appearance? What other characters might the series feature going forward?

What's better than seeing 'Iron Man 3' before almost everybody else? Well for a group of amazing kids from New York City they found out that answer. As they attended a charity screening for Hurricane Sandy volunteers, they got to see 'Iron Man 3' with Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr.

Although it doesn't open in the United States for another week and change, 'Iron Man 3' has already started rolling out internationally, garnering its fair share of rave reviews. While some audiences are already getting the chance to see the whole movie, we simply have to sit back and play the waiting game. Well, at least the waiting game involves a new behind-the-scenes look and footage from the film!

'The Avengers' made over $1.5 billion (with a b) at the box office, which is enough to make it one of the biggest films of all-time. But Marvel executives weren't the only ones making money off the film. Star Robert Downey, Jr. confirms he made over $50 million to star in 'The Avengers' adding, "Isn't that crazy?" Yeah, pretty much.

A new 'Iron Man 3' TV spot has arrived and it has us wondering: is there such thing as too much marketing? After all, it feels like at least half of the highly anticipated Marvel adventure has been released through trailers, spots and clips. That's a thought to chew on as you watch this new footage (which, like the others, is quite cool).
