'Gangster Squad' was delayed, and it seems Warner Bros. is using this time (un)wisely to do more marketing -- like making this horrible new poster that Photoshops the life right out of all of the actors. How could you do this to Ryan Gosling, you guys?!

'The Place Beyond the Pines' has quickly become one of our most anticipated films of 2013. Picked up by Focus Features at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend, it looks like we'll be seeing a theatrical release relatively soon. Director Nicolas Winding Refn enjoys putting Ryan Gosling through the wringer. Of course, you knew that already if you caught the duo’s emotionally battering ‘Drive,’ one of the finest films of 2011. They’re reuniting as we speak on a film titled ‘Only God Forgives,’ and based on these early images, Gosling’s going to take another beating, both physically and, we’re assuming, mentally.

Though it might still be missing a release date, Ruben Fleischer's 'Gangster Squad' now has a trailer, which features Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling chasing Sean Penn's Mickey Cohen through Los Angeles. It's more than likely this will be attached to 'Dark Shadows' this weekend, but if you don't want to wait, the trailer's here.

It's hard to know what to make of Warner Brothers fiddling with their schedule right now. But they've just moved 'Argo' - which stars and was directed by Ben Affleck - from its September 14 release date to October 12. Meanwhile 'Gangster Squad,' the Ruben Fleischer-directed gangster films with Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin, got moved off the October date and is now unscheduled.
