To help provide the duct tape to make this possible, the film is looking to recruit J.K. Simmons to play a very important role.

Though the roles of both John and Sarah Connor have been cast (with Jason Clarke and Emilia Clarke respectively, and of no relation), one of the biggest final puzzle pieces of the cast in the upcoming 'Terminator' reboot, 'Terminator: Genesis,' is who will play Kyle Reese, the man who traveled through time because he fell in love with a picture of Sarah Connor. Currently the role is between Boyd Holbrook and Jai Courtney.
