You’ve still got to wait until next month to see Terminator Genisys. But you can check out a big chunk of the movie right now, at least in still form, as Paramount unveiled well over 50 new stills and behind-the-scenes shots of the movie. They’re all collected in the gallery above.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Goes Undercover as the Terminator
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to the movies after his stint as governor of California has been filled with ups and downs, good films and bad. But one thing has remained consistent – the living legend has started showcasing a savvy online presence and a self-aware sense of humor that has re-endeared him to the digital world. Now, he’s combined all of that into a YouTube video that, while it exists solely to promote a charity, is more entertaining than any of the Terminator Genisys trailers so far.

When viewers head to the theater to watch Jurassic World this weekend, they’ll find a movie that transports them, almost literally, back to the first Jurassic Park. Colin Trevorrow’s new film is a sequel to Steven Spielberg’s 1993 original — and only that film. In an interview with ScreenCrush, when Trevorrow was asked about whether his movie pretended The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III never happened, Trevorrow explained, “Our film is just more of a direct sequel to the original Jurassic Park.” He made a similar comment to Yahoo! Movies; he told them the earlier sequels “aren’t being written out of continuity so much as placed to the side, as they both unfolded on a different island.”

James Cameron Endorses ‘Terminator Genisys,’ Calls it the Third Film in the Series
Most fans of the first two Terminator films probably agree when it comes to the upcoming Terminator Genisys – approach with caution. This thing looks ready to burn anyone who gets their hopes up. And yet the film has pulled a marketing hail mary that feels specifically designed to get fans back on the movie’s side. Someone showed the movie to James Cameron and then got him to appear on camera to say nice things about it.

At least these Terminator Genisys posters are better than the first look we got at the characters last year — you know, those images in which all the actors are waving guns around and shouting. This new set of characters posters is a bit more subdued, although much, much heavier on the Photoshop to the point where they look painted.

New ‘Terminator Genisys’ Poster Puts Plot Twist Front and Center
For awhile, the marketing for Terminator Genisys sidestepped around the actual plot of the film, selling nostalgia for the older movies in the series and the return of a more grizzled and gray Arnold Schwarzenegger to his signature role. And then the latest trailer arrived and, seemingly out of desperation, gave away the film’s big plot twist. Now, the latest poster for the film gives it away again. Either this reveal isn’t as big of a twist as everyone expected or Paramount is getting a little antsy to get butts in seats.

Rise of the Machines: How Robots Took Over Hollywood
When the Avengers reassemble for their big sequel this weekend, they do it to stop Ultron, an eight-foot-tall robot who wants to destroy the world. He’s the accidental creation of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, who are trying to create an artificial intelligence capable of protecting the planet from threats too big for even the Avengers to handle. Their experiment is a horrific success; Ultron becomes self-aware, gives himself a body made out of spare Iron Man parts, and begins plotting the Earth’s destruction. “You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change,” he tells the Avengers. “There’s only one path to peace. Your extinction ... when the dust settles, the only thing living in the world will be me!”

Ready or not, the next installment in the Terminator franchise is coming soon. This quartet of international trailers offers up new footage, and while some of it is a bit repetitive (how many times can you listen to Arnold Schwarzenegger say “I’ll be back”? Four, apparently), there are some interesting action pieces we haven’t seen before. Matt Smith is still conspicuously absent, however.
Does This New ‘Terminator Genisys’ Trailer Contain a Major Spoiler?

Does This New ‘Terminator Genisys’ Trailer Contain a Major Spoiler?
The last Terminator Genisys trailer was so convoluted and confusing that ScreenCrush editor Mike Sampson and I spent an entire piece trying to figure out the plot of the film. (We were not successful, either.) At the very least, the new Genisys spot makes things a bit clearer. Right off the bat they also reveal one significant plot twist: John Connor (Jason Clarke) has been mechanized by Skynet and the evil computers of the future, and sent back in time to kill his mother Sarah (Emilia Clarke). Also, I just realized that Sarah and John Connor are played in this film by two actors with the same last name. Which, whoa. And, of course, there’s also Arnold Schwarzenegger back as the T-800, but this time he’s an older model who’s Sarah Connor’s protector. How and why remains to be seen, but hey, that’s why you’ve got to buy a ticket. To figure out how a robot can age and learn to a be a good guy who smiles awkwardly. (Very awkwardly.)
