Last night came the shocking announcement: Robert Downey, Jr. will star in 'Captain America 3' alongside Chris Evans, kicking off the Civil War storyline in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But, what exactly is the Civil War storyline and what does it mean for 'Captain America 3,' 'Avengers 3,' the Infinity Gauntlet plans, Spider-Man and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?! (Whew!)

We got our first official look at 'Avengers 2' through concept art shown during an hourlong TV special on ABC, 'Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe.' Now, in honor of Marvel's 75th anniversary of existence, a second TV special will drop this November. Does this mean we will see the first 'Avengers 2' trailer officially released?

There's been a lot of 'Iron Man 4' talk over the past few days as Robert Downey, Jr. continues his whirlwind promotional tour for 'The Judge' across a multitude of talk shows. He's confirmed it, issued demands, backpedaled, confirmed it again and now, via an appearance on David Letterman last night, he clarified all the recent rumors and (we think?) issued the definitive word on 'Iron Man 4' and his future at Marvel.

If you thought studios securing release dates years in advance for movies that don't even have titles yet was crazy, you haven't seen anything yet. Now, television networks are now buying the rights to air those untitled movies years before they're even released in theaters. Specifically, TNT has signed on the dotted line with Marvel Studios to air the next five Marvel movies, which includes 'Avengers 2,' 'Captain America 3,' 'Ant-Man' and, um, two others.
