The race for 'The Crow' is heating up. We previously reported that 'The Avengers' and 'Thor' fan favorite Tom Hiddleston was in the running for the lead in Relativity Media's adaptation of the James O'Barr comics, but now the latest word is that Alexander Skarsgard is up for the part as well.
'Thor: The Dark World' looks to be bigger and better than the original movie!
You've got to hand it to Marvel: they sure do like keeping their secrets. What we know about the upcoming sequels to 'Captain America' and 'Thor' could fill a thimble (maybe two), so it always feels like we're grasping at straws when it comes to keeping you fine readers up to date regarding the latest superhero movie news. However, one of the biggest questions about the currently-filming 'Thor: The Dark World' looks like it has an answer. That question: will Tom Hiddleston's Loki be making an appearance?
At first glance, pop star Katy Perry (and star of the upcoming concert film 'Katy Perry: Part of Me') and Loki, the sneering and conniving villain from 'The Avengers' don't seem to have much in common. Well, aside from a predilection to garish costumes. But at a closer glance, maybe Katy Perry and Loki are much more alike than we could've imagined?
Tom Hiddleston is not just your 'Avengers' villain. He's also an impromptu Shakespearean and, as we're just finding out, something of an impressionist. Exhibit A: a video posted online that has compiled all the impressions Hiddleston has performed while out promoting 'The Avengers' and 'War Horse.' These include, but are not limited to, Owen Wilson, Alan Rickman, Joey (the 'War Horse' horse) and the velociraptor from 'Jurassic Park.'
Beware, your pants may be charmed right off your body.
