It's been kind of a slow day for TV news, what with most of the major Television Critics Association press tour panels having taken place, but in some cases a slow day is just the calm before the storm. That's why we're equally delighted, bewildered and horrified to announce that 'The Brady Bunch' will be gracing our TV screens once more in the near future, with a rebooted cast. Also, Vince Vaughn is behind it. Yeah, it's that kind of day.

Is it just us or when you hear that John Goodman has been cast in any movie, it immediately shoots to the top of your must-see list? It does? Ok, so we're not the only ones who love the guy.
The zeitgeist giveth and the zeitgeist taketh away. Fortuitous timing lends some films the aura of relevance; bad timing lends others the stink of impropriety. Released last summer, ‘The Watch’ would have been just another Hollywood action comedy. Released this summer, it’s burdened by all sorts of unwanted and unintended cultural associations. It already endured a title change (from ‘Neighborhood Watch’) after the death of Trayvon Martin. Now this film -- which features a man exaggeratedly grieving for a murdered friend for comic effect and an antisocial dropout who stockpiles weapons -- opens a week after the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado. This poor movie can’t catch a break, which is a shame because it’s actually pretty funny.
Care to try and wrap your brain around the concept of Vince Vaughn: Action Hero?
With 'The Watch' only a month away from its July 27th release, expect that marketing to pick up steam, especially since this (comparatively) small sci-fi comedy will be dealing directly with the box office wake of 'The Dark Knight Rises.' However, a comedy starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill shouldn't have a problem finding its audience if it's, you know, funny. With the first clip from the film now available online, we can start to see if it is.
‘The Watch’ remains a tough movie to figure out … and we’re only weeks away from the comedy reaching theaters. Usually by now, a film has laid 90% of its cards on the table. But we’re still not sure if ‘The Watch’ is more raunchy dude humor or whiz-bang sci-fi effects. Or will it be a healthy mix of both? The newest clip sheds a little light on the mystery, shifting focus directly on the “raunchy” rather than the “whiz-bang.” Though there is some whizz.
'The Watch' should be a movie that's a slam dunk for summer audiences. It features comedy heavyweights Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill caught up in a big alien invasion type movie. So why have the trailers all felt underwhelming? Well 'The Watch' is about to fix that with a hilarious new trailer. You're gonna wanna watch this trailer. (Get it?...)
Conan O'Brien seemed as surprised as his audience by the two guests stars on his stage Tuesday night. First, 'SNL' and '30 Rock' comedian Chris Parnell popped up in a sketch led by Deon Cole, but walked off the stage almost as unceremoniously as he arrived. Seconds later, though, Vince Vaughn took the stage with an exclusive new trailer for his summer comedy 'The Watch.' Didn't stay up to watch this live? Don't worry. We have it below.
The French-Canadian film 'Starbuck,' written and directed by Ken Scott, was recently acquired by DreamWorks for an American remake also written and directed by Ken Scott, and they've just signed on their leading man: Vince Vaughn.
Boy, that Vince Vaughn sure has his plate full these days, and we're not talking about craft services (okay, probably that too.) Between re-teaming with 'Wedding Crashers' star Owen Wilson for 'The Internship,' potentially taking on 'The Rockford Files,' and developing an FX dominatrix drama, just how will he manage to cram in a new ABC sitcom with Tony Danza? And which of them will be the boss?
