The 10 Greatest Superhero Movie Villains
Without a great adversary, what good is a superhero? Without someone to punch in the face, Batman would just be some rich schmuck driving around in a weird-looking tank. Without someone on the receiving end of his shield, Captain America would just hang out at the V.F.W. all day. So let’s celebrate the villains. Let’s bring on the bad guys and give them their moment in the sun. With Avengers: Age of Ultron introducing another memorable baddie in the form of James Spader’s titular metallic menace, let’s take some time to run down the 10 greatest superhero movie villains of all time.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Rogue Cut Is 11 Minutes Longer
Late last year we learned that Fox was planning to release a “Rogue Cut” of X-Men: Days of Future Past, which would include previously deleted footage of Anna Paquin’s Rogue, whose story arc had been removed from the film due to time constraints. If you’re a fan of Rogue, then the planned release of the Rogue Cut is great news. But just how much footage are we talking here? Five minutes? An entire 20 minute chunk? The answer is about 11 minutes. That’s 11 minutes of previously unseen Anna Paquin action!

In the original comics version of Days of Future Past, the X-Men travel into the distant future of...2013. Which, of course, is actually before the present day of X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014 (the movie instead travels to 2023). This is just one of the facts packed into the latest episode of You Think You Know Movies, which goes back to the future with X-Men: Days of Future Past!

Matthew Vaughn Reveals Abandoned 'X-Men' Plans
Matthew Vaughn has twice departed a franchise after directing the first installment: first, there was Kick-Ass, which was followed up by a horribly underwhelming (to say the least) sequel. Then there was X-Men: First Class, in which Vaughn reinvigorated the franchise with a fantastic origin story, followed by Bryan Singer’s triumphant return with Days of Future Past. But if Vaughn had stuck around for the X-Men sequel, things might have been a little bit different.

"Rogue Cut" of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Coming in 2015
Not long before ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ hit theaters, we heard that Anna Paquin’s scenes as beloved mutant Rogue had been excised from the film due to time constraints. We also heard that the scenes featuring Rogue would have made for a slightly different viewing experience. Fox planned to release the deleted scenes and there was talk of releasing a “Rogue Cut” with Paquin’s scenes restored to the movie, but they were curiously absent from the DVD/Blu-ray versions of the film. So what happened to that fabled “Rogue Cut” of ‘DOFP’? We finally have an update.

The latest entry to the “I need your blood but I’m not a vampire movies” genre is ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,’ a movie I would probably have simply watched and forgotten almost immediately – just like all of the other ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ movies -- if it wasn’t for it’s awfully familiar plot point: The villains (I’m being vague on who the villains are as to avoid spoilers) (Also: ha!) needs the Turtles’ blood. Of course the villain needs the Turtles’ blood because what why else would anyone have any interest in English-speaking human adult-size turtles?

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Director's Cut Confirmed
'X-Men: Days of Future Past' is the most successful film of the franchise yet, and that's saying something, given all the moving parts within the story itself and the immense cast of new and returning stars. A few aspects from the original script were cut for this time-travel tale, mainly the deletion of Anna Paquin's major appearance as Rogue, but fans will get to see everything the original version had to offer through a director's cut.
