When our first look at the new 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' was revealed way back when, fan reaction was, well, pretty underwhelming if not completely off-the-rocker angry that their favorite heroes in a half-shell were made to look like a mad scientist's laboratory experiment gone amuck. Nonetheless, the process in which these characters were created through motion capture is pretty stellar.
In 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' the 75th annual Hunger Games tournament (known as the Quarter Quell) draws contestants from the existing pool of victors from the 12 districts. Katniss and Peeta go face to face with seasoned fighters and dangerous new foes, but also interesting new allies Finnick, Johanna and Beetee. Joining Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson for the fight are new faces like Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Alan Ritchson. Before you head off to see this exciting new sequel, get acquainted with the new tributes and find out where you've seen them before!
No, it's not Jennifer Lawrence. There's probably something slightly thankless about playing one of the title characters in the upcoming 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot, but don't tell that to Alan Ritchson, who has snagged the role of Raphael (you remember, the cool but rude turtle) in the upcoming film. Still, better to play the mutant turtle with the red headband than no mutant turtle at all, right?
