Everything we’ve seen from Hulu’s adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale has seemed equal parts timely and enrapturing, but a first trailer for the Elisabeth Moss-led series very much seals the deal. It could be time yet before Hulu’s adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale gets a first trailer, but the Elisabeth Moss-led continues to outdo itself in casting. Newly revealed among the major cast is Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel, in a role presumably more sympathetic than Rory Gilmore.

Unlike other revivals, Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life seemed expressly designed to return its prolific cast for one last stay in Stars Hollow. That is, until those oft-referenced four final words left further questions to answer, something Netflix now seems to be teasing over Twitter.

Less than a week will see the Gilmore Girls dropping a year’s worth of reunion in time for a post-Thanksgiving binge, as the four-part Day in the Life catches long-lost fans up on all of Stars Hollow. The new trailer brings back even more familiar faces from the oddball town, so kick off the final countdown to next Friday!

It’s been years in the making, but we’re ready to spend A Year in the Life with the Gilmore Girls, even if it takes the span of a single evening to binge through it all. Return to Stars Hollow, as our first official trailer for November’s Netflix revival comes with all the coffee you can drink!

This past weekend saw Netflix breaking with its traditional release strategy, to debut Baz Luhrmann’s The Get Down in the first of multiple installments. That owed to chaotic production, but where Gilmore Girls bosses hoped to release the four Year in the Life revival specials in equal installments, Netflix believes fans “would’ve killed us” to break with tradition.

The internet was beside itself with anticipation at news that Gilmore Girls would return for A Year in the Life, and it won’t be that long before it’s a part of your own life. The long-awaited Gilmore Girls revival has an official November premiere and first footage, something both Amy Schumer and John Oliver heartily approve of.

Now that Netflix’s long-awaited Gilmore Girls revival has wrapped production with the majority of its former cast, fans are awash with hype for the actual premiere. Netflix has yet to set a date, but we’ll soon have Gilmore Girls all year round, judging by the official title and its poster.

It seems like only yesterday, that Netflix announced an end to the drug-induced haze that followed all our collective anguish at Gilmore Girls’ final season, in staging a long-awaited revival. Now, we’re already back in Stars Hollow, as the first official photos of new Gilmore Girls have arrived.
