It was only a matter of time before 'Community' promos started getting the attention they deserve from NBC, and cashing in on series star Alison Brie's dual roles. So while the Greendale gang nails 'Mad Men''s maddening promo style in the latest look at season 5, why has our beloved Alison been reduced to so little screen time?
Just yesterday we saw our first real look into 'Community' season 5 with a literal explosion of new photos from the premiere, but that was only half the story! See Ken Jeong's return, 'Breaking Bad' star Jonathan Banks' debut, episode titles and more from the latest round of photos to emerge from 'Community' season 5's January 2 premiere!
Just the other day, we caught our first look at 'Community' season 5 in fresh new photos of Jeff and season-long guest star Jonathan Banks, but that wasn't the only Greendale goodness NBC had to offer. Before we start celebrating the January 2 premiere, check out the full set of photos from 'Community''s season 5 premiere, featuring the return of guest star Rob Corddry!
Alison Brie is best known for her roles on 'Community' and 'Mad Men' but apart from acting, Brie is also an amateur singer with her LA-based band Alison Brie and The Girls (with The Girls being Julianna Guill and Cyrina Fiallo). This week Brie played a show at Central in Santa Monica, CA and covered a White Stripes song with Draco Malfoy playing guitar, which is going to be something you're going to want to see.
For as much as we love 'Community' and wholeheartedly support its fourth season regardless of what showrunner takes the helm, we'll be keeping an eye on the response to this Thursday's "Conventions of Space and Time," given early critical word on the episode has been less than favorable. Even fans of the first two outings of the season have raised questions about characters backsliding, particularly Annie (Alison Brie)'s feelings for Jeff, but will the story have a happy ending? Check out the latest clip of Alison Brie from Thursday's "Conventions of Space and Time" for a clue!
Alison Brie GIFs are here. This can only mean one thing: 'Community' Season 4 is almost upon us. OK, it also means that we have an unhealthy obsession with Alison Brie but that's between us and our therapist. For now you can let our obsession be your gentle reminder that 'Community' - one of the funniest shows on TV - is back!
Sure, 'The Avengers' was a great movie but there was only one female member (Black Widow) of the superhero team. There are already rumors that Joss Whedon wants to add Wasp to 'Avengers 2' but what if the entire 'Avengers' team was recast as women? Hey, if they can do an all-girl version of 'The Expendables' why not 'The Avengers?' And what if they cast Alison Brie, Sandra Bullock and Amber Heard? It might go a little something like this...
You know those movies where you relate so much to the characters and their emotional garbage that you almost want to dislike it for being so earnest? 'Save the Date' might be that film for you.
It almost feels bittersweet to look forward to the February 7 premiere of 'Community' season 4, with very little hope the show will continue on past its next 13 episodes. Still, amid Chevy Chase's departure of the series and news of some intriguing guest stars, we've been in need of more 'Community' pick-me-ups for the Greendale gang. How about news of a top-secret love interest for the loveably meta Abed? 'Community' star Alison Brie dishes inside!
We love Alison Brie as the too-adorable Annie on 'Community' and the equally charming Trudy on 'Mad Men,' but in today's Way Back When, we check out what Brie was up to before she hit it big.
