Whereas CBS' decision to not move forward with 'HIMYM' spinoff 'How I Met Your Dad' proved pretty surprising, the fate of 'Two and a Half Men' was long overdue. The Ashton Kutcher comedy will indeed return for season 12 this fall, though the network finally confirmed that one of Chuck Lorre's flagship vehicles will come to a merciful end with a series finale thereafter.
Hard to believe we're still writing about 'Two and a Half Men' by the 11th season, though the upcoming CBS run of the longrunning comedy may prove its most-watched in years after yet another main character leaves the show behind to become less of the original 'Two and a Half Men.' We know Amber Tamblyn will join the series as Charlie's long-lost lesbian daughter, but what does her first appearance look like?
Long in the tooth though it might be, CBS powerhouse 'Two and a Half Men' has just found its next (more chromosomally literal) half-man. After an extensive search for an actress to portray Charlie Harper (Sheen)'s long-lost lesbian daughter, former 'Joan of Arcadia' and 'House' star Amber Tamblyn has been selected to fill the recurring role when 'Two and a Half Men' season 11 picks up this fall.
Sadly, we'll soon have reached an age in which Dr. Gregory 'House' has retired from the limelight, and eight years of acerbic medical drama will have sailed off into the sunset. But before we do, you'd better believe we're getting some good guest stars, right?! So with more than a few past cast members set to return, which reprisal aren't you expecting?
