Uncertain though we were what to make of AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ spinning off a “companion series” in 2015, we had to admit our excitement for the possibility of exploring a new corner of the zombie apocalypse. Now, the setting for the AMC monster-drama’s forthcoming spinoff has been revealed, and yes, the City of Angels has officially gone to hell. Well...further, anyway.
AMC’s ‘Breaking Bad’ prequel spinoff ‘Better Call Saul’ hasn’t made much of the fact that it’s title character won’t even go by that name for some time, but that hasn’t stopped the first official poster and its subsequent teasers from digging into some ‘Breaking Bad’ nostalgia. Return to the New Mexican desert and a familiar car wash with a new look at 2015's ‘Better Call Saul!’
‘The Walking Dead’ season 5's first eight episodes left off on a pretty dour note, but the back eight arriving in February 2015 may see an even more “brutalized” Team Rick struggling to adapt to some major changes. Find out what the cast and crew have to say of ‘The Walking Dead’ season 5's 2015 return with a fresh preview of the new episodes!
Now that ‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 has entered its brief hiatus until February 2015, production on the AMC’s horror-drama spinoff “companion” series has begun ramping up. Months have passed since we’d heard anything from ‘Preacher,’ Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg‘s AMC development of the famed Garth Ennis comic as a TV series, but given the network’s success with comic properties, a pilot order was all-but inevitable. Now, AMC has handed down the official ‘Preacher’ production decree, with Rogen and Goldberg set to direct and produce the pilot.
AMC's 'The Walking Dead' has gone and left us to wait until February 2015 for new episodes, but that hasn't stopped the spinoff "companion" series from keeping the zombie apocalypse in business. Not only has the new horror-drama series cast Frank Dillane (Voldemort!) and Alycia Debnam Carey, but so too may 'The Walking Dead' spinoff have a new title and focus.
Many moons ago, a lifetime in Internet-land, ‘The Walking Dead’ courted a bit of faux-scandal in interview comments that saw creator Robert Kirkman acknowledging the possibility of the seemingly asexual Daryl Dixon to emerge as a gay character. Despite the unlikelihood of the AMC horror-drama devoting any real time to the matter, now Kirkman has opened up on Daryl’s sexuality to finally set the record…well, straight.
And lo, ‘The Walking Dead’ has said its goodnights for 2014, midseason finale “Coda” closing out the Grady Memorial Hospital arc with an unexpected (yet somehow predictable) death. It’s a wide-open world for Rick and the other survivors when ‘The Walking Dead’ returns in February 2015, so get a taste of the horrors to come in our first trailer for the back half of season 5!
‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 brings its 8th episode to life with midseason finale “Coda,” as Rick attempts to negotiate with Dawn for the lives of Carol and Beth, only for the conflict to go horribly awry, while Gabriel makes a shocking discovery of his own.
