Well, gee willickers, there's a surprise. We're just hours from the season 2 premiere of 'American Horror Story,' as the Emmy-winning horror serial heads back to the year 1964 for the brand-new tale of 'American Horror Story: Asylum.' And while viewers were dumbfounded to first learn that the second season would follow an all-new story with mostly-new cast members, somehow, we're not the slightest bit surprised to learn season 1 star Dylan McDermott will return after all. But, who will the former Dr. Harmon play this time around?

As if we weren't already eagerly anticipating the second season of FX's terrifying Ryan Murphy thriller 'American Horror Story: Asylum,' with its cavalcade of big name stars and that spooky sneak-peek released earlier today, 'Deadwood's Al f$%king Swearengen has joined the cast. That's right, the already-menacing Ian McShane will appear on the second season of the horror thriller to "tussle" with Emmy-winner Jessica Lange's character, but who will McShane play?
Bless the internet. Where some years ago we'd have to wait until the very moment of premiere to get our first taste of 'American Horror Story: Asylum,' you live in a day and age in which these things simply pop up online days before! No longer need we wait until Wednedsay, October 17 to get our first look at how the 'Horror' unfolds for 'American Horror Story' season 2, but what surprise does the footage have in store?
For those of us who were appropriately driven to the brink of insanity by the endless barrage of 'American Horror Story: Asylum' teasers, maddeningly cryptic and devoid of footage, your day has finally come! Even better than the trailer seen earlier this week, FX's horror thriller has pulled out all the stops in its latest trailer, bloody, sexy and stuffed with new footage and character details. Are you ready to get committed to 'American Horror Story: Asylum?'
Well we'll be sons of monkey's uncles, it turns out 'American Horror Story: Asylum' is a real TV series after all! Between the myriad of photos, and the 20+ teasers the show religiously pumped out day after day, we had yet to see any official footage of the FX horror thriller's second, re-booted season. All that changed with a new trailer attached to last night's 'Sons of Anarchy' episode, so who's ready to enter the asylum?
Sister Jude better pray that Mark Margolis doesn't end up in a wheelchair when the former 'Breaking Bad' star comes to FX's 'American Horror Story: Asylum.' The iconic actor, whos career dates back as far-reaching as 'Scarface' has just landed a recurring role on the second season of Ryan Murphy's horror thriller, but with the untold number of guest stars dropping by the asylum this year, what role could the 'Breaking Bad' boss possibly take?
All week long we've been traumatized by the idea that we're no longer going to see 'American Horror Story: Asylum's' daily but brief, creepy teasers. The FX Ryan Murphy horror drama approaches its second season ever more closely, as new episode details and clips spill out, but today might have brought our most interesting look yet. We've seen bits and pieces, but are you ready to go inside the asylum with the cast of 'American Horror Story' season 2?
We've been feeling a little haunted this week, not because we know that FX's 'American Horror Story: Asylum' is due to arrive in just a few weeks time on October 17, but mainly because it seems that Ryan Murphy's horror thriller has finally broken its long-standing tradition of issuing new teasers every day! Cryptic though they might have been, we grew mighty attached to those creepy little buggers, so what are we to do in their absence? Why, pour over the new episode description, of course!
Boy, it sure is good to be in the cast of 'Modern Family' about now. Though not quite as sweeping as 'Homeland's' Emmy victories last night, ABC's powerhouse comedy took home quite a few bits of gold itself, including the first and last awards for the night for both Eric Stonestreet as Supporting Actor and for Comedy Series overall. And even though 'American Horror Story' wasn't a huge winner as a whole, what better way than to borrow its best supporting man, just like the first season?
No, there isn't any need to adjust the brightness on your computer, smart phone, tablet, or...well, whatever that thing people of the 'Weeds' season finale future were using. 'American Horror Story: Asylum's 23rd (seriously, count them) teaser leaves us largely in the dark, but we feel like the ominous figure hidden in the shadows is going to loom even larger over the coming season. Are you ready to (sort of) meet "Bloody Face?"
