'Maleficent' Gets Magical in New Sneak Peek

Last night the Disney channel debuted a new sneak peek of their upcoming villain origin film 'Maleficent' during the premiere of the TV movie 'Cloud 9.' We're not entire sure what the difference is between a "sneak peek" and a trailer, but we do love the charming intro, featuring footage from the original animated 'Sleeping Beauty' film, which transitions beautifully into the live-action world of 'Maleficent' and Angelina Jolie's villainess.

During the D23 Expo's second day of movie presentations in the Anaheim Convention Center in California, Sean Bailey, Walt Disney Studios' president of production, came out to the stage to present the upcoming live-action offerings, including the first footage of Angelina Jolie as the evil witch in 'Maleficent.'
