When Warner Bros. Games Montreal took the reins of the Arkham series from Rocksteady studios, gamers were skeptical Batman: Arkham Origins would hold up to its two predecessors. In the E3 trailer of this prequel story, an inexperienced Caped Crusader will find out if he's ready to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight.

Over the weekend, iconic Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy got fans' hopes up when he talked about working on a new Arkham game at Dallas Comic Con. On Monday, the actual voice cast for Batman: Arkham Origins was announced, and Conroy was nowhere to be seen. That's because Conroy was talking about an entirely different Arkham game that hasn't even been announced yet.

Deathstroke isn't just the co-star of Batman: Arkham Origins' first trailer. In fact, he's going to be a playable character available for free to anyone who pre-orders the upcoming sequel.

For the first time in the franchise, Batman: Arkham Origins will feature a new voice actor in the role of Bruce Wayne. Not to be outdone, the clown prince of crime will also have a new actor lending his laugh to the maniacal prankster.

The full Batman: Arkham Origins trailer has arrived, and with it comes nearly five minutes of pure Dark Knight action. If you thought Deathstroke was the main attraction, he's just the tip of iceberg.
