In case you couldn't already tell by the way things are playing out between all the DC properties, there's no real continuity like there is with the Marvel films and television shows. Where Marvel has a vision and a plan in place with everyone working together in harmony to realize that vision, DC is like a room full of introverts with their heads down, doing their own thing. Marvel has the Cinematic Universe which has now extended to TV, and to explain what DC is up to, Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns is likening their approach to a concept DC comics fans will instantly recognize: The Multiverse.

Filming is currently under way for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' and while the film won't hit theaters until 2016, rumor has it that we could see a teaser trailer in the next couple of months. That's not entirely implausible, given that the film did show off a little teaser action at Comic-Con over the summer, and Warner Bros. does have another major event film hitting theaters pretty soon.

We really don't know much about how Wonder Woman will fit into the plot of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' We do know that she's being played by Gal Gadot and that she will, somehow, get some screen time alongside Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman and Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. But that's about it ... until now! Thanks to a tiny snippet (caught on Vine, no less) we now know that DC's Amazon warrior will forego her classic origin story in favor of her modern beginning.
