That will change this Saturday, as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill will put aside their superhero squabbling and hit the con floor to sign autographs for fans.

For a long while, it was reported that Batman vs. Superman was in actuality a sequel to Man of Steel (albeit one that has Batman in it). It has the same cast, the same director and it’s a direct follow-up to Man of Steel, even dealing with the fallout from that movie. But, if you think Batman vs. Superman is just another Man of Steel movie, Superman himself, Henry Cavill, says you’re wrong.

Faster than a speeding bullet, Comic-Con is upon once again. The biggest, nerdiest party in the world kicks off on Wednesday in San Diego and, yes, Team ScreenCrush will be on hand to cover it all. With Marvel, Sony, and Paramount, all sitting out this year’s big geek bash, the clear #1 panel to anticipate is Warner Bros. Saturday morning showcase of their upcoming slate. The presentation will include clips from the new live-action Pan starring Hugh Jackman, and the movie version of the ’60s spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. But the star attraction is unquestionably an appearance by Zack Snyder and the stars of next spring’s hotly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

One of the most interesting parts of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the introduction of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Before the hero gets her very own solo adventure, we’ll see her alongside Batman and Superman as they brood at each other and duke it out. But how big is Gadot’s part in the film, exactly? Director Zack Snyder is promising some big things.

Lego/Wall Street Journal
Though Lego doing building sets based around the upcoming Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice was an eventuality (and has been teased previously), we didn't know what kind of plans the company had in mind. Given Lego's history of providing a variety of sets in all shapes and sizes for the likes of its DC Super Heroes line, as well as recent developments with its Marve Super Heroes line (with regard to the movie-based sets), it seemed like anything was possible. Batcave? Maybe. Wonder Woman and Aquaman versus Lex Luthor? Sure, why not. Of course, the obvious answer was there the whole time. Thanks to the beacon of geek news that is the Wall Street Journal, we have our first official look at Lego's initial BvS:DoJ set: the Batmobile. Though the set will be available for viewing at San Diego Comic-Con next week, Lego will not have the Batmobile available for sale. The 306 piece set won't be purchasable until New Year's Day 2016.
