It’s been teased and now it’s been confirmed by director Zack Snyder: The first preview for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will debut on April 20 only in IMAX theaters at a “special teaser screening event” that will also include an introduction from Snyder. On Twitter, Snyder revealed exactly how to attend the event, and gave a brief taste of what’s to come:

Yesterday we reported on Zack Snyder’s wacky little plan to deliver the first Batman v Superman trailer a bit early. That trailer is attached to Avengers: Age of Ultron, and will hit theaters on May 1. For fans who can’t wait that long, Snyder has concocted a plan to allow you to see the trailer early — instead of simply releasing it online next week, Warner Bros. will screen the trailer in a theater. But it won’t be just any theater. They’re taking it to IMAX.

Looks like Zack Snyder is trying to steal some of the spotlight from Disney and Lucasfilm. The director will reportedly reveal the first five seconds of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer online just an hour before Star Wars Celebration begins on Thursday. Five seconds sounds pretty lame, which is why Snyder is offering fans a chance to see the entire trailer shortly after…in a theater. Sure, why not.

There has always been a friendly rivalry between Marvel and DC Comics, and their devoted legions of fans. This has been true for the years and years of comic books and is just as much true now as both look to dominate the superhero movie landscape. But, that friendly rivalry may have gotten a little more heated over the weekend as Aquaman himself threw down his trident to let everyone know how he really feels: “F--- Marvel.”

We’ve been hearing some interesting Suicide Squad rumors this week, but the latest report might be the most interesting yet. Not only does it shed some light on the way David Ayer is approaching Jared Leto’s version of the Joker, but it gives us some clues about how Ben Affleck’s Batman might make an appearance in the film. Best of all, Ayer is relying on some great source material for the Joker: Frank Miller’s classic graphic novel ‘The Dark Knight Returns.’

A few weeks back, Zack Snyder revealed our first look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman, who will make his big screen debut in Batman vs. Superman—along with a few other notable DC heroes. With all the casting info and plot details we’ve learned over the last year, that film seems like it should be about three hours long when all is said and done. No stranger to speaking out about his role as Aquaman, Momoa has once again opened up about the upcoming film, revealing just how big his part is, as well as his surprise when Snyder tweeted that photo.
