‘Blair Witch’ Director Says Third Film is “Inevitable”
You can either thank or blame ‘The Blair Witch Project’ for the prevalence of found footage films that have been released in the 15 years since its debut. Although the (sort of) sequel ‘Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2’ wasn’t received nearly as well, there’s been talk of a third installment in the franchise for many years. Co-director Eduardo Sanchez, who recently released his new horror film ‘Exists,’ has yet another update on a third ‘Blair Witch’ movie, which Lionsgate is still very much interested in making.
