The past few weeks have not been kind to actor Shia LaBeouf. First he was booted from the cast of a Broadway play. Then he was busted plagiarizing his apology to the other actors. Later, it was revealed his short film, 'Howard Cantour' was actually plagiarized from a comic by author Daniel Clowes. LaBeouf apologized and - you guessed it - that was plagiarized too. He hired a skywriter to fly a smug "I am Sorry Daniel Clowes" banner over Los Angeles (Clowes lives in San Francisco) and defiantly posted the cease and desist from Clowes' lawyers online.
Whatever seems to be happening in LaBeouf's personal life that has precipitated this breakdown appears to have finally reached it's head as the actor announced that he's ready to retire.

Everyone is going to hate 'The Counselor.'
Ridley Scott's adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's original screenplay starring Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt, et. al. is one frustrating movie. At its very best – if you buckle down and really work to piece together the nearly inscrutable plot – you aren't going to come away with much. “Crime doesn't pay,” is the gist of it.

Paramount Pictures
If you had brought up the idea of a 'World War Z 2' to Brad Pitt and Paramount Pictures just about six months ago, they may have laughed you out of the room. The zombie movie had a famously difficult production with costly reshoots leaving many Hollywood insiders thinking 'World War Z' was going to be a massive failure. But then the film hit theaters, it turned out to be a pretty good movie and the movie has made over $200 million to date. So, who's laughing now? Certainly not Brad Pitt who says they have "so many ideas" when it comes to prepping the inevitable 'World War Z 2.'

Syfy has officially greenlit a pilot for the '12 Monkeys' TV series, said to follow the 'Battlestar Galactica' model of development, but will the series follow the same plot as the movie?

The full-length trailer for Ridley Scott's 'The Counselor' has arrived online, and there's only one thing this movie wants to know: Have you been bad? Well, it seems Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem and Michael Fassbender certainly have, judging by the action in the trailer. There's not much explicitly described about the plot, which is kind of how we like our trailers.
