Love or hate that 'Breaking Bad' will likely spin its enduring popularity into the prequel spinoff series 'Better Call Saul,' the question remains why creator Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould chose to set the drama in the past, rather than explore other aspects of the character. Prequel discussion may be premature however, as Bob Odenkirk claims we might see a bit of post-'Breaking Bad' Saul as well!

Where recently we learned that 'Arrested Development' creator Mitch Hurwitz would return Harmon's favor by appearing as a Greendale student, now 'Breaking Bad' creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan will pop up in season 5 alongside former star Jonathan Banks!

The 'Breaking Bad' series finale still has us all talking, but what are our words against the mighty voice of Odin, when Anthony Hopkins himself binge watches the entire series in two weeks and writes a letter to Bryan Cranston expressing his fanboy adoration? Like 'Fargo' herself, casting for FX's forthcoming adaptation of the 1996 Coen brothers classic has been a bit slow-moving, at least until today. We've heard some pretty insane responses and theories emerge from the 'Breaking Bad' series finale, "Felina," but the latest would make even Walter White blush. Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg reportedly offered AMC the gargantuan sum of $75 million, just short of Walter White's life's work, to commission three additional 'Breaking Bad' episodes to take place after the finale.

Finales always tend toward the polarizing, but most would agree that the 'Breaking Bad' ultimate end "Felina" at least wrapped up the story of Walter White in a conclusive manner (whether or not you believe it to have happened in real life, or inside Walter's head). That said, two high-profile pop culture icons have spoken out against the 'Breaking Bad' series finale, and while we'd be hard pressed to link acclaimed director Oliver Stone and Britney Spears, their bizarre criticisms certainly merit mention.

Our 'Breaking Bad' withdrawal has reached an all-time high following this past Sunday's series finale "Felina," one we had thought even the upcoming Spanish-language remake 'Metastasis' couldn't satiate. Imagine our surprise however, that the first trailer for Walter Blanco's turn to the dark side of chemistry actually looks pretty good, bitch!
