From 'A Bug's Life' to 'Finding Nemo,' Pixar's many movies have wowed movie lovers since it's very first work, 'Toy Story' in 1995. While there are many aspects that make up a Pixar creation, these films have bathed in colorful sequences, and a new supercut celebrates just that.
For the first year since 2005 we won't be getting a new full-length Pixar film, and while that's kind of a bummer to think about, we do have some wonderful Pixar news to share today. The studio has released an official synopsis for one of two (yes, two) new films aimed for released in 2015: Pete Docter's 'Inside Out.' And, as a bonus, the studio has debuted a new 'Cars' short on its Disney Movies Anywhere platform today, just in time for the holiday.
One of Disney and Pixar's most beloved hits of all time was undoubtedly Brad Bird's 'The Incredibles,' which saw a family of superheroes thrusted back into heroics after years of remaining in hiding. The director previously said that he was extremely interested in the possibility of continuing the story with 'The Incredibles 2,' but now, during a meeting with the Disney investors, Disney CEO Bob Iger said that Bird is currently at work on a script!
In news that should surprise no one who keeps an eye on Disney's finances, word has surfaced that 'Cars 3' is in the works over at Pixar. Animation fans can wail and gnash their teeth as much as they want over this much maligned series, but there's no denying that these films have been a massive success for their studio and a 'Cars 3' was simply inevitable. It was all a matter of when it got announced.
