As bright as the future of 'Star Wars' might seem with its (at least) five new movies on the way, that future will always be dimmed by the cancellation of Cartoon Network's CGI epic 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars.' Admittedly, the series went through a meaty 5 seasons, but its unexpected shelving left a number of already-produced arcs on the cutting room floor, and a number of unanswered questions. The 'Adventure Time' gender-swapped universe of Fionna and Cake returns on February 18th with the episode "Bad Little Boy" and in addition to the return of Neil Patrick Harris as Prince Bubblegum, this new episode introduces us to Marshall Lee voiced by none other than 'Community' star Donald Glover.

With all the talk flying around Marvel these days, from new 'Iron Man 3' sneak peeks, to the live-action 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series, it's been a good while since we've heard anything on the DC side!  Well, no longer!  It might be on the side of the small screen, but Cartoon Network's upcoming animated series 'Beware the Batman' might just give us our fix while we wait for news of the caped crusader's big-screen future.  So how would you like to get up close with the character design, including villains and a bad-ass Alfred?

Understandably, the buzz behind 'Star Wars' exploded through culture this week with news of Disney's mammoth purchase of the franchise, and eventual continuation of the movie saga that began the legendary series.  Yet, through all that movie news and speculation, relatively little attention has fallen to TV, wherein 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' has been making waves for the last four years.  Now that Disney owns the rights to the franchise, will they opt to continue with the long-running Cartoon Network series?  Could Disney simply put the program on one of its networks, or scrap it entirely?

With all the new details of 'Star Wars' TV flying around the galaxy these days, from the TV shows that will never happen, to the ones that unfortunately will, it's easy to forget how uncompromisingly awesome 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' has become.  Now heading into its fifth season (of a supposedly three year period, don't ask) the latest trailer for 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' will make many a fanboy squeal, even if they don't know what they're looking at.

We've seen all manner of reactions to the terrible and tragic 'The Dark Knight Rises' shooting in aurora.  Some comedians make horribly ill-timed jokes, while the Warner Bros. studio itself modifies films like 'Gangster Squad' for content all-too reminiscent of the shooting that left 12 dead and dozens more wounded.  On the heels of it's 'Gangster Squad' changes, Warner Bros. has decided to make a few changes to upcoming animated series 'Beware the Batman' as well.  What's going to be different?
