Seeing as the 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series pilot has officially wrapped production, it may be a while yet before ABC or Marvel release any official photos or footage from the Joss Whedon-directed pilot. And though ABC has yet to issue an official pickup for the Marvel-produced 'Avengers' continuation, fans are no doubt eagerly anticipating seeing some of their favorite movie characters on the small screen, but what does Joss Whedon himself have to say? Yesterday, we reported that Frank Grillo had been cast in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' as the villainous Crossbones. We learned that news through Variety writer Marc Graser's Twitter feed, but the actual article, published later, drops a few tidbits that should prove tantalizing to Marvel fans...especially those wondering if any 'Avengers' characters will be making an appearance.
