Drunk History has made its way around the block, from web series to Emmy nominations, and Season 4 on Comedy Central may be the most satisfied year yet. Not only do we get a first taste of Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda retelling the famous duel, but the first trailer brings a bevy of celebrities from Elizabeth Olsen to Ronda Rousey.

Following the power-hour of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert was always a tall order, and it seems Comedy Central late-night has its first casualty as such. The Nightly Show with host Larry Wilmore will officially come to an end this week, while Wilmore responds to the “unblackening” of his time slot.

It was Lin-Manuel Miranda himself who pointed out that the first Drunk History had already chronicled Alexander Hamilton’s rivalry with Aaron Burr, before signing on to Season 4's post-Broadway recreation. Now, Arrested Development alum Alia Shawkat and star Aubrey Plaza have landed the new Hamilton roles, along with other details of the November bow.

We’re just over a year from the end of Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, and even with all 300+ sketches available online, fans can’t help missing the duo’s comedic voice. Keegan-Michael Key, at least, isn’t sure where they’d begin to weigh in on topics like the current election, but thinks Key & Peele itself might find space to return a few years down the line, whether a new season, or a sketch movie.

We’re all still collectively grieving the major cast members of Hamilton leaving the show behind, but with it, their slow TV takeover has begun. Lin-Manuel Miranda himself will even drop by Drunk History this coming season, re-telling the tale of Alexander Hamilton to boot!

By now, the cast of Comedy Central’s Workaholics has made the leap to movies (and back) on more than a few occasions, but with a seventh season looming for the workplace comedy, an end seems inevitable. The cast appears to agree, as Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson see Season 7 as the likely endpoint for the TelAmeriCorp boys.

South Park will kick off a landmark 20th season this coming fall, and as such, no better home than Comic-Con 2016 would help celebrate Matt and Trey’s creations in style. Comedy Central has set full panel plans for South Park, along with a “South Park 20 Experience,” interactive exhibits, video games and more.

Even after Trevor Noah landed the Daily Show chair to follow Jon Stewart, Jessica Williams fans have still held out hope the young correspondent could one day host the series. That day looks even further off, unfortunately, as Williams confirms her Daily Show exit as early as this week, ahead of a new Comedy Central series.

South Park long ago put to rest notions of an imminent end with a three-season renewal through 2019, but it bears thought if video games like The Stick of Truth or The Fractured But Whole represent an enduring step for the franchise. Creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker wonder this as well, pointing to games as a potential “future of South Park,” noting they’ve still kicked around a few movie ideas.
