Throw some new tallies on both sides of the 'Arrested Development' season 4 board? Last night, the once and future 'Arrested Development' star Will Arnett dropped by 'Conan' in promotion of NBC's 'Up All Night,' but couldn't resist sharing a few secrets of the upcoming 'Arrested Development' reunion, particularly with two of his cast-mates sitting beside him! That's right, not only will Andy Richter return for the revival, but his late night boss Conan O'Brien will put in an appearance as well!
Batman & Conan! Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Unfortunately, we may be waiting a long while before TV funnyman Conan O'Brien slinks into a costume and joins the Caped Crusader on a crime-fighting adventure, but we won't have to wait long to see him immersed in the Batman universe. Conan has joined the voice cast of Warner Bros./DC Entertainment's upcoming animated feature 'Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2'. So who will he be playing?
J.J. Abrams has long loved keeping secrets from his audience, and 'Star Trek Into Darkness' is no exception. The film is slated to come out May 17, 2013, which means we may yet see a teaser soon (undoubtedly we'll get one before the end of the year). But for now Abrams is only showing three frames.
The events of September 11, 2001 will forever be engraved in American history as one of the most tragic events, and the most impactful moment of our lifetime. But while the country collectively grieved over the human casualties, none were more affected than the residents of New York City. It was there that the devastation occurred and it was there that the survivors, the families of the victims and the city itself had to rebuild their lives.
At the time, most couldn't find the proper words to address the situation, but despite this challenge, it was left to all the late-night shows and media outlets that we often turn to for guidance to help us make sense of 9/11 and help us move on.
Shark Week is that one time a year we all eagerly anticipate sitting in front of the tube and getting a load of some crazy action courtesy of our sharp toothed friends of the deep. But Conan O'Brien wants to change all that.
"Forget Shark Week," he said on this week's episode of 'Conan.' Instead of geeking out over the ocean's most frightening creature (other than Godzilla, obviously), Conan recommends that you take a look at his own future hit series Shaq Week.
Conan O'Brien saw both of the latest teaser trailers for Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' -- he saw the luxurious landscapes, the nostalgic image of a child running around his lawn in a Superman cape, and he heard the graceful uplifting music playing just before the most iconic superhero went skyrocketing through the clouds -- and he was not impressed.
Conan O'Brien has been doing his show live in Chicago for the past week and what trip to Chicago would be complete without a visit to the famous Weiner Circle. The Weiner Circle is known for its tasty hot dogs (and its rude workers who berate the customers). So as an experiment, Conan sent two people to try it out. The nicest person he knows - '30 Rock' star Jack McBrayer - and the meanest person he knows - Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog. Hilarity ensues.
With the upcoming release of 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' flick and Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln' in production, Conan O'Brien picked a fine time to visit Springfield, Illinois' Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum for a fun-filled history lesson.
Conan O'Brien seemed as surprised as his audience by the two guests stars on his stage Tuesday night. First, 'SNL' and '30 Rock' comedian Chris Parnell popped up in a sketch led by Deon Cole, but walked off the stage almost as unceremoniously as he arrived. Seconds later, though, Vince Vaughn took the stage with an exclusive new trailer for his summer comedy 'The Watch.' Didn't stay up to watch this live? Don't worry. We have it below.
Last night, Conan O'Brien visited 'The Late Show With David Letterman' - his first appearance on that show in over 13 years and his first late-night appearance since being fired as host of 'The Tonight Show.' Naturally with their combined dislike of Jay Leno, you could see where the interview would be going...
