We’ve seen NBC’s DC Comics comedy Powerless take a number of shapes since development, and if you caught some of the early pilot trailers, you’ll barely recognize the final product. Get a look at Wayne Security in a revamped premise trailer for Powerless, ahead of a February premiere.

DuckTales fans probably think about that iconic theme more-so than anyone notable names among the original cast, but the 2017 Disney XD reboot has you covered either way. We’re still on the fence over DC branching out into live-action comedy with NBC’s upcoming Powerless, particularly after a bit of creative trouble, but we finally know when the series will suit up. TV superheroes are everywhere these days, so leave it to NBC to attempt a new spin on DC’s greatest titans. Superhero office comedy Powerless has officially been granted a series order, along with first photos of the DC Comics-adjacent sitcom starring Vanessa Hudgens.

We’re still on the fence over DC’s intent to script an NBC comedy about Powerless insurance adjusters, even after yesterday’s casting of Vanessa Hudgens, but the latest additions certainly help. Not only has Firefly favorite Alan Tudyk signed on, but so too has Community alum Danny Pudi and actor Christina Kirk.

Six seasons and a mini-reunion? We wouldn’t recommend holding your breath for news of another Community season, or the long-awaited movie, but series star Ken Jeong at least found a place for some of the Greendale Gang. Both Joel McHale and Danny Pudi will drop by their fellow alumnus’ ABC sitcom Dr. Ken, and things might get meta from there.

That old familiar standby of Community signing off has again arrived, perhaps a bit more under the radar than in previous years, but nonetheless completing the first half of its #SixSeasonsandaMovie pledge. Meta as ever, “Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Television” said a heartfelt goodbye to Season 6 as it envisioned a potential Season 7, but would fans (or Dan Harmon) even want it?
