We’ve barely begun staffing out the second, Katrina-themed season of FX’s American Crime Story, but already Season 3 has its title characters. Not only is the Versace of our third American Crime Story cast, but so too will Glee and Flash star Darren Criss provide the titular crime.

News of a Flash and Supergirl musical had fans immediately pointing toward the cartoon Music Meister as its villain; if perhaps uncertain of the character’s outlandish style. Now, new set photos from cast and crew give us a look at Darren Criss in character as the vocal villain, and an early encounter with the team.

The Flash had plenty of looming mysteries to address by the time of 2017 premiere “Borrowing Problems From the Future,” the title of which proved surprisingly literal. Not only were Savitar’s three prophecies shoved aside, but Season 3 laid the groundwork for its two-part musical “Duet” with Supergirl, a certain city of the apes, and more.

Long before Flash and Supergirl confirmed their musical crosover “Duet,” fans pointed to the shared Glee past between Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist as proof of concept. Now, their Music Meister fittingly hails from the same hallowed halls, as Darren Criss signs on to musically menace the Super-duo.

‘American Horror Story’ Will Finally Murder One of the ‘Glee’ Kids for ‘Hotel’

Per E! Online, Criss has entered negotiations to guest in the Hotel Halloween installment as Silver Lake hipster Justin, who books a stay at the titular hotel with his girlfriend in hopes of escaping trick-or-treaters, only to end up on Kathy Bates’ bad side for demanding too much of room service. Bates’ character heads the establishment, and in turn offers “a Halloween trick they will never forget.”
